RITTERS of EXETER

The above photo is the gate to the second Ritter Cemetery. It is an older photo, as the medallian in center of gate is now gone. The original Ritter Cemetery is near by but has been over built with a housing developement. The Ritter family tree is full of stories that have gotten in the way of serious research. This database starts with George Ritter, for which I found some facts to back up his existance. He doesn't appear to be chased out of Europe by the Pope, and hasn't taken up with any Indian Princess. Just an emigrant like so many others; received some land and started a new life.
